SPACEBOULDER.

Architecture. Stage design. Climbing wall. The modular SPACEBOULDER room system consists of eight double-sided structured cast aluminium membranes, which can be combined with each other as required and connected in different arrangements. The material is extremely resilient, thus durable, and was therefore not only used as a futuristic climbing wall, but also for stage design at festivals, in theatres and in exhibition stand constructions. The structured surfaces have their origin in the superposition of architectural sketches, aerial photographs of urban spaces combined with macro photographs of the human organism. Depicted with geometric shapes and patterns, interrupted by organic lines, in combination with the material aluminium a surface with a unique language of form was created, which is worth discovering. A modular system that internalises the name SPACEBOULDER.
